The Lost Art of Satirical Letter Writing
RELEASE DATE TBA
With the advent of computer auto-correct, texting abbreviations, and tweets, I’ve reached a point of utter frustration. Rather than sulk over the demise of vibrant literature, my wife, always the optimist, suggested I provide guidance. The result, THE LOST ART OF SATIRICAL LETTER WRITING.
A collection of memorable letters sent over the last thirty years: most hysterically funny; many sarcastic as hell; some biting my tongue; and, a few clearly indicating I can’t stands no more, as Popeye would say.
The majority of my friends, associates and business partners have been on the receiving end of at least one of my missives over the years. If you had the unfortunate circumstance to be family, or, their close friends, you would have endured, or, as I would like to think, looked forward to, a running commentary on your activities, accomplishments, defeats and just plain screw-ups.
Would Mark Twain really approve?
